Tight Line Chronicles was founded by Port Charlotte native, Captain Paul Halasz after he traded in his position within an insurance company for flip flops and board shorts to start a business based on his true passion, being out on the water. As an experienced captain and a local boater, Capt. Paul strives to create a memorable experience for each one of his anglers while they catch a few fish along the way.
Each trip with Tight Line Chronicles is a learning experience and all levels are welcome. The basic principle of Tight Line Chronicles is to appreciate the little things and take in all of the beauty that Florida waters have to offer and (you can be sure that) you will catch some fish.
With pick ups at four different marinas in the area (Laishley Boat Ramp, Burnt Store Marina, Placida Park, Eldred’s Marina) Captain Paul sets each trip up with all of the essentials and maps out each trip (Capt. Paul will hit specific spots upon request) so that everyone can focus on what matters most, quality time with your group enjoying the water and creating memories.
